LAST DAY in HONG KONG
We catched an early morning flight from Beijing to Hong Kong from where
we will depart the same night back to Europe at midnight.
We have the all day free and want to use it at its maximum
We started touring the city, beside its strong buildings
nature is litteraly exploding in any corner where is allowed
and no doubt that if let go, it would take over any skyscarper...
We took a lift with the tram to visit the Peak... can't leave HK
without that view in your eyes! the climbing is very vertical
and the tram sometimes stops which gives you sort of vertigos
Up at the Peak there are shopping malls and panoramic restaurants,
on the opposite side still is not so constructed and we thought
how many years will it last so unspoiled?
Once returned from the peak we spent the afternoon around the several
beautiful shopping malls, among which we really loved: Harbour City, IFC, Pacific Place..
in every of these there was a coffee spot of the famous Milanese COVA Bar
which was great for a stop
By late afternoon the streets were still so crowded and alive and we headed back to the Peninsula
to prepare for another special occasion...
which we celebrated at FELIX, the last floor restaurant at the Peninsula
designed by Phillippe Starck
it was very fun to order from a personal IPAD where you could also
see the photo of the course
MIDNIGHT arrived, and so time for us to go!
See you soon China! hope you readers loved to travel with us
